A Brief History of the Mountain Donuts

The unit was started under the Authorisation of General Runde Brot by Captain Spicy Wings in late 2007, for the purpose of Operation Mepplestory Christmas, the failed attempt to bond a DotA addict, Ce Yong Ruan, and a Rappelz addict, Alysha Tran.

Operation Mepplestory Christmas

Operation Mepplestory Christmas (or Operation Unconventional Santa) was a Marialand military operation to secure the relationship of two gaming addicts (DotA addict, Ce Yong Ruan, and a Rakkion addict, Alysha Tran) on December 18, 2007. The unit was actually founded only 20 days prior to this, meaning that the force was relatively unprepared.

The problems for the new unit were only compounded after the First Lieutenant of the force refused to carry out an integral part of the plan, claiming that having to live in the attic of the target's house for 7 nights was "unreasonable" and that the plan was "crazy".
Furthermore, she directly attacked Captain Spicy Wings authority and ability to create a plan because "[he was] retarded!"

Other problems included inadequate stealth training for the members of the new unit as well as few of them having training in aerial insertion (airborne training), a confusion on the date the plan was to be executed as well as a lack of supplies due to shops being closed for the Christmas holidays.

The failure of the operation led to the creation of the Marialand Assemble of Paratrooper Legionnaires and the Elite (MAPLE, also known as Zakum Force by civilians); a micro-regiment of the Mountain Donuts Special Forces unit that was very extensively trained in parachuting and basically a miniature airborne force. The Marialand Army’s 160th Special Operations Reconnaissance Micro-Regiment (“The Night Lords”) was also created because of the lack of 1337 ninz0r skilz in the unit. The Night Lords were also responsible for training the rest of the Mountain Donuts unit in stealth and "Dark Sight".

After that, the unit agreed on more simplistic plans. Thus, Operation Easter Gambit came into being. However, Captain Spicy Wings had once again made one of the same mistakes; he entrusted the core of the plan to the same lazy soldier* who had failed to comply with the first operation.

In summary, the mission failed due to an overly complex plan, inadequate stealth training for the members of the new unit, a confusion on the commencement date, a lack of supplies due to shops being closed for the Christmas holidays, and the failure of a certain member of the unit to comply to an integral part of the plan.

* The soldier, at the time codenamed “Bubble”, was thus demoted from 1st Lt. to 2nd
